Hack The Box is excited to announce the return of the Global Cyber Skills Benchmark 2025 (formerly known as the HTB Business CTF) for its fourth consecutive year. Running from May 23 to May 27, this competition is exclusively for corporate teams, providing a unique opportunity to benchmark their cybersecurity skills against today’s threat landscape through challenges that simulate real-world scenarios.

In today’s rapidly evolving threat landscape, organizations face an increasing number of cyber threats, as well as a vast array of best practices and industry standards to follow. Continuous benchmarking against peers offers a powerful way for teams to assess their current skill sets and identify areas for improvement. In fact, according to HTB’s research, based on data from previous similar CTF competitions, over 70% of managers consider team-based assessments like CTFs to be the most effective method for evaluating their teams’ skill levels.

This year’s competition features over 40 challenges across 12 categories, including cloud, blockchain, ICS, and more, providing an immersive experience suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned professionals. Teams of 1 to 30 players can join from anywhere in the world and compete for over $50,000 in prizes, including premium Hack The Box content and exclusive swag. Additional perks include certificates of attendance and up to 6 CPE credits for participants who submit their (ISC)² IDs and whose teams score at least 15,000 points. Exclusive workshops and talks will also be held on May 22, the day before the competition begins.
